The green house was the first structure built on the property. Jonathan dug it out and constructed it by hand. It has a hip high raised bed all around the outside. We've been successfully growing in this space since our first spring here.
We are constantly in a battle with the rodents for posession of the sprouts and fruit in the greenhouse.
The shelter keep the plants safe from the wind and reduces the water consumption for growing substantially. The diffused light seems to suit the plants just fine. We've grown everything from brocolli to tomatoes in the greenhouse at some point.
